This page explains how this prototype handles your information. It is not a substitute for a publisher’s complete privacy policy.
Accounts
Sign-in and verified registration are handled by the platform’s built-in authentication. NovaFlix does not store passwords in the catalogue, browser storage or its profile records.
Personal viewing data
Family profile names, avatars, watchlists, favorites and playback positions are saved in the built-in key-value store using private account scope. Family profiles under the same account share account access.
Public catalogue
Published titles, posters, episode descriptions and authorized video links are public catalogue content. Do not include private contact information or secrets in content management.
External content hosts
Film playback and catalogue images are served by external hosts. Those services can receive your IP address and browser information when content loads. Their own privacy practices apply.
Your controls
You can remove titles from your lists and delete additional family profiles. To request full account or stored-data removal, use the publisher’s contact channel once it has been configured. Sign out on shared devices.
Before public launch
The publisher should add their identity, real contact details, retention periods and a policy appropriate to their audience before collecting data at scale.
